Tracking Down Your Research Impact
Do you know how widely your publications have been read or cited? Have they been used as the basis for a thesis or been cited in a variety of disciplines beyond your own? Do you have trouble finding publications for an author who has a fairly common name? In this workshop you will learn the basics of cited reference and techniques for author name searching in Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar and how to generate visualizations and reports from the results. This is a hands-on, beginner level workshop; no prior experience is needed and everyone is welcome. Bring your laptop or play along on library computers.
