Introduction to Citation Management Tools Online
Citation management tools save time and effort in wrangling the sources and citations you use in your research writing. They make it easier to collect and organize documents, to add and edit references in your papers, to reformat citations to meet any style manual, and to share references with your research or project group. In this introductory session, you’ll learn why citation management tools are so useful. You’ll be introduced to several citation management tools - EndNote Web, Mendeley, Overleaf, and Zotero - that are widely used at ISU. Then in a breakout session, you’ll focus on one of these tools, start your own free account, get useful tips, and have your questions answered by a library specialist.
