Genealogy 101: Researching Your Family History Online
Researching your family history can be daunting with all of the resources that are available. Many resources claim to be free, but then don't give you detailed information without a subscription. In this workshop you will learn what resources are available through the ISU Library, Ames Public Library, and other local history organizations. We will also provide tips on how to move forward with your research when your family history has not been as well documented as those with ancestors who came from Europe.
