Fireside Chats on Artificial Intelligence
This conversation, featuring AI Librarian Alfred Wallace, will explore how AI is changing scholarly communication, examine emerging shifts in peer review and publication, and consider ways to maintain research integrity while ensuring that high-quality research continues to be shared and discovered.
Fireside Chats on Artificial Intelligence provides a casual, engaging forum for faculty, staff, and students to explore the opportunities and challenges that AI presents across the university. These themed discussions with topical experts bring together diverse perspectives from instruction, research, administration, and student life to examine how the emergence of AI is shaping learning, productivity, creativity, and decision-making on campus. Participants are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and discuss emerging issues around the scheduled topic of discussion.
