Introducing Digital Skills in the Classroom: Opportunities for Instructors Online
Many students today struggle to connect the practical skills they learn in their courses with the tools they can access after graduation. In this workshop, we will discuss strategies that instructors can use to engage students in learning with a variety of tools (e.g. Knight Lab, H5P, Hypothesis, ArcGIS, etc). By building these skills, students will be more resilient and flexible when encountering diverse technologies in their future careers. All faculty and staff that interact with students in online environments (instructors, instructional designers, librarians, and other support staff) are welcome to attend and engage in exploration and discussion about this important topic.
