International Friendship Fair
The YWCA Ames-ISU has held International Friendship Fairs since 1992! During International Friendship Fair activities, international volunteers share items from their cultures in a fun and educational way. Community members then experience multicultural games, crafts, exotic music, stories, and much more.
The next fair will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cyclone Support Central (Room 140).
Volunteering at IFFs is also a great way to build presentation skills and English conversation skills with visitors walking through the fair. You can volunteer independently, with your spouse, or with friends.
