Monsters@the M-Shop: "The Bat”
The Bat, a 1926 silent film - now in the public domain - will be shown at the Maintnence Shop in the ISU Memorial Union during Open Access Week.
Based on a popular mystery/comedy Broadway play, motifs from The Bat influenced the creation of Batman one of the world's most popular superheroes.
A murderer and thief dressed as a monstrous creature of the night prowls the halls of an isolated mansion while its terrified denizens struggle to answer one question: Who is The Bat?
FREE movie, popcorn and soda, cash bar. Doors open at 5:45pm.
