Maximizing impact with author profiles Online
This workshop introduces major author profile systems, including Scopus, Web of Science, ORCiD, and Google Scholar. Learn how to claim and maintain your profiles easily, make your Google Scholar profile public, and utilize SciENcv. The pros and cons of eac system will be discussed in this session, which is valuable for those seeking promotion or needing to maintain an updated online CV.
Author profiles help researchers find your work in one place, offer links to full texts and citations, and distinguish your publications from others with similar names. Participants will engage in practical exercises to set up and manage their author profiles. No prior setup of author profiles is required.
