Making the Case: Leveraging Open Access and OER in the Promotion Process
This event will be held in the Student Innovation Center (SICTR) Room 1118
Open content–both Open Access publications and OER–are valuable tools for showcasing your expertise and sharing information with a large audience. Engaging in open work may count towards research, service, and teaching expectations, but how do you explain the impact of that work to your peers?
In this workshop, faculty participants will receive guidance on how to reap the benefits of open content for the promotion and tenure process, leveraging examples from actual Iowa State P&T case packets. These tips will be relevant for both tenure track and non-tenure track faculty at Iowa State.
