Research and Instruction academic AI tools petting zoo
This hands-on workshop allows participants to engage in guided activities led by the presenters to test out 3 AI tools you could use in your academic endeavors, and discuss the best practices for their use.
Play with Semantic Scholar, which can be used for researching and starting literature reviews; Adobe Firefly, which can generate images for all of your needs–from presentations to group events; and finally, test Copilot, your study buddy, tutor, copy editor, and all-around AI assistant.
Learn how to leverage these tools effectively and when you might want to avoid using them.
