LIB 1600 spotlight: Enhancing student research Online
Every ISU undergraduate student takes LIB 1600–but how much do you know about this course? Are you or your students struggling to define what a “credible” source is? Are your students consistently turning in unreliable sources for their research assignments? Are you worried that ChatGPT is doing all the work? LIB 1600 was designed with you in mind. Come take a virtual tour of the newly remodeled LIB 1600 course and learn how we’ve integrated introductory college-level research skills with AI literacy to give students a solid foundation in academic research to build upon in your courses. At this workshop, we will share common terminology and resources that you can use to help your students decode their assignments and add more rigor to their research projects.
