Wellness Wednesdays at Parks
Schedule of activities for Nov. 29:
10:15-11 a.m. – Progressive Muscles Relaxation/Light Movement
11:15 a.m.-Noon – Mindfulness Activities with Student Wellness
12:15 a.m.-1 p.m. – Home for the Holidays: How to Cope with Stress Coming Home from College
1:15 p.m.-2 p.m. – Mindfulness Activities with Student Wellness
With a focus on student mental health, Wellness Wednesdays will be offered in Parks Library from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Nov. 15 and 29 in Room 140.
This space will allow students to focus on their mental health through various uplifting activities that may include:
- Play and create with Legos, coloring books, and puzzles.
- Practice mindfulness with meditation, reflections, gratitude journaling, and goal setting.
- Physically relax with yoga, light therapy, breathing exercises, audio experiences, and aroma therapy.
All members of the campus community are encouraged to stop by, even if only for a few minutes, to take a break and center their wellbeing.
Wellness Wednesdays at Parks is a collaborative effort by Student Health and Wellness and the University Library as part of the Cyclone Support initiative.
